My fall distraction has come to an end. I worked on it most weekends through October and finished up last weekend. It was fulfilling.
Thankfully, we have some great neighbors who don't mind the view.
I received thank-you notes from my daughters with "you're a great builder" themes. Their smiles were all I needed. I doubted the 'great builder' comment as I recalled the old treehouse that came with the house my parents purchased in Allegany, NY, in 1974. I spent summers trying to repair it, but it was a lost cause. I never got past the ladder.

That is the most rocking tree house that I have ever seen! I would expect no less from you though. May I come and stay in it next time we visit?
